Cruise Night with Big Fish - Held on October 30, 2010 at the local hangout, Byrons. Hosted by Outsiders, the spot was packed with rides. Clubs Supremacy, Tru Rydaz, Outsiders, Imaginations, Uce and Lowriders Pride were in attendance. It was a great night of hanging out, talking story and hopping. Street Dreams Showdown - Held on July 27, 2010 at the Aloha Stadium. Though this show was poorly put together, the nice thing about this show, was that it had every type of car, from lowriders to 4x4s. It also featured coverage by Mini Truckin Magazine and there were models, such as Christine Mendoza, and Francine Dee attracting huge crowds. It was also great to see friends and old faces, while making new ones.
Build the Track Motorsports Show - Held on June 19, 2010 at the Aloha Tower. This show seems to expand every year. This year they extended the cars into the garage, though it was not very easy to find. There was the usual hot rodders and imports, but something new to find was the lowriders at the Cosmic booth! with Mike(the artist) spinning the turntables. Also new was the 4x4's out in the grass, which looked very fitting. I would have to say, they put on a great show, raising the awareness of building the track.
First Hawaiian Autoshow - Held on March 26-28, 2010 at the Convention Center. There was alot of nice cars coming out for the 2010. But along with the new cars was alot of featured clubs such as VW of Hawaii, 808 Camaros, Scion Evolution, Uce, Aloha Mustang and Shelby of Hawaii. With free giveaways and prizes, you couldn't go wrong. Also Thanks to Uce for doing a great job in representing the lowriders!
Royal Image Cruise Night - Held on February 13, 2010 in Ontario, CA. I was lucky enough to be training in California for work. Got to meet up with Jay from Spellbound and check out the beautiful lowriders. Many clubs came out including Ontario Classics, Elite, Traffic, Ohana and ofcourse Royal Image. Hopefully I'll have the chance to come back again.
Chance Customs New Years Showoff - Held on January 17, 2010 at Keehi Lagoon Park, this was not a show to miss! Their objective was to fill a uhaul truck with canned goods for the Hawaii Food Bank, and they did just that! The parking lot was overflowing of cars and spectators. There was a milk chug contest, hopping(hydraulics and air bag) contest, and over 25 trophies. Props to Chance Customs for throwing one of the best shows and Im looking forward to next years!
